Description

Sitio Matuto

Paulo and Vilma Pereira are third-generation coffee farmers from Campestre, Minas Gerais, Brazil. After years of selling their coffee on the conventional market, they joined the Legender Specialty Coffee Program, where higher quality coffee is rewarded with a premium price.

The program encouraged them to focus more on selective picking, drying, and post-harvest processing, helping them better understand and improve the quality of their coffee over time.

Sitio Matuto is located in the Canta Galo community at 1,200 meters above sea level. The region’s altitude and stable climate create good conditions for slow cherry development and balanced sweetness in the cup.

This coffee has notes of milk chocolate, dried fruit, and a light herbal character. In our opinion, it’s a smooth and delicate cup with a clean finish.
